We chose our wedding venues. Here I am sitting on a bench with William Peace, just outside the doors of where we will be getting married. We chose the intimate and beautiful James Dinwiddie Chapel on the campus of Peace College. Both of our mothers attended Peace College so we are excited to be using a chapel that represents both of our families. The campus, built in the 1800's makes for an amazing setting for photos, with the brick buildings, campus lawns, and historic interiors.
Following the wedding, our reception will be held just down the street at The Stockroom another venue full of history. Located above Raleigh's Fayetteville Street, and just a stones throw from our capital building, an amazing blank slate, with exposed brick walls, hardwood floors, and a white lattice celling. The space is just the right amount of rustic leaving us the ability to transform it as our hearts desire.
